Dr Shahram Mossayebi (CEO, PhD in Post-Quantum Cryptography) and Dr Patrick Camilleri (VP of Operations, PhD. Eng) co-founded Crypto Quantique. Spotting a huge vulnerability in current IoT chip designs, they invented the world’s first proven quantum-driven secure silicon chip design, called QDID. While this solves one piece of the security puzzle, they noticed that a device is only as secure as it’s weakest point, which led to the creation of QuarkLink, an IoT software platform that helps device manufactures provision, connect and manage their devices with multiple cloud service providers with secures the rest of the supply chain. QuarkLink is an independent product which can be used with any IoT device and not limited to devices with a QDID built in.
Mossayebi and Camilleri’s groundbreaking technology simplifies connectivity for all areas of the supply chain, driving differentiation and value for all segments of the supply chain through taking security seriously. Increasing trust along the supply chain bridges the IoT scaling gap holding back IoT ecosystem innovation.

Making IoT devices secure is a complex, multi-dimensional challenge. Legislation is forcing more companies to dramatically update their systems. The threat landscape is evolving, including issues emerging for post-quantum cryptography. A multidisciplinary team is required to address the challenges of the present and the future.

David is a technology focussed Head of Software Engineering with over 25 years’ experience in leading-edge software development. He is a strong advocate for agile methodologies and DevOps practices, driving efficiency and collaboration across cross-functional teams. In his previous role his commitment to excellence and forward-thinking approach helped Avalara Inc. develop a massively-scaled, cloud-based solution ahead of an $8.4 Billion exit. He is adept at aligning technology initiatives with business goals, ensuring that the software solutions not only meet the current market demands but are also future-proof and delight the customer.
Ranga Desikachari
Head of IC Engineering
Ranga is an Analog/RF IC Design engineer with over 20 years experience working for multinational semiconductor businesses in the Silicon Valley and the Silicon Fen, as well as in Cambridge & London-based chip design start-ups. He holds a Masters Degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from Oregon State University(Corvallis, USA) and a Dual M.Sc.(Physics)/B.E. (Electrical &Electronics) degree from BITS Pilani(India).

Following a 30-year career in project management and field applications engineering with Cypress Semiconductor, Renesas, and Secure Thingz, Chris joined Crypto Quantique in May 2020. Chris holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Coventry, UK.

Rob Clyde, NACD D.C., CISM is a recognized cybersecurity and technology expert and experienced executive and board director. He current serves as the Chairman of the board of directors of Crypto Quantique, along with this, he serves on the Board of Directors for ISACA (Past Chair) and White Cloud Security (Executive Chair).

John is an Investment Director at Parkwalk where he manages a portfolio of investments and sits on the boards of Lumenisity, Cambridge GaN Devices, Flusso and OWidgets. Previously John worked in equity fund management as a Partner at Adelphi Capital LLP and prior to that as Head of Global Capital Goods equity research at Merrill Lynch.

Dr Luke Rajah
Board Member
Luke works with BGF, a £2.5bn fund, in support of deep tech companies delivering break-through innovation and impact. He joined BGF’s London office in 2023, with a focus on early-stage deep-tech and life sciences. Prior to BGF, Luke spent 3 years heading up operations and strategy at Wren Therapeutics, a drug discovery company focused on neurodegenerative diseases. Before Wren, he spent several years as an early-stage deep-tech investor at Ombu Group. Luke started his career at the Boston Consulting Group, working on strategy with senior management and boards across the energy and life sciences sectors. He holds a first-class BA and MSci in Natural Sciences (specialising in Physics) and a PhD in Biophysics from the University of Cambridge, where he led a range of projects focused on microfluidics technology.

Paul is a recognized quantum technology and cybersecurity leader. He currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer at Infleqtion, and previously led multiple cybersecurity companies to successful exit as CEO. Paul holds an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, and a BSc in Physics from the Victoria University of Manchester, England.
